Calico One is a 3.5 mile moderate to strenuous introductory hike at Red Rock Canyon. This hike combines the history, geology, beauty, and fun that makes Red Rock famous. Make your own transportation & hotel arrangements to Vegas. We'll meet at 8 am at Calico One trail hike. Timed entry is required.

Transportation and Hotel Accommodations: You must arrange your own transportation and hotel accommodations. Many are leaving at different times due to family and work schedules. Many of us are making a weekend trip of this. Please arrange your overnight accommodations, food and transportation and plan to help with the gas of your driver if you plan to carpool. While it is not recommended that young children attend this hike, you are welcome to invite friends or family. Feel free to plan other activities after the hike with friends and family.
Young Children Defined: One who does not immediately follow your directions the first time they are given. One who will run toward the cliff out of curiosity when you tell them don't go there.
